Why choose virtual recovery coaching service

Goal Coach’s services are generally delivered online, as virtual services, also known as ‘telehealth’. It may be different from what you’re used to, but there are plenty of benefits to be gained from having virtual recovery coaching appointments.

You’ll still meet with a real person!

‘Virtual’ means our service is delivered online, rather than face-to-face. You’ll meet with one of our experienced and qualified recovery coaches by video, or over the phone, whichever you prefer. We give you all the information you need to join the meeting using your preferred device – phone, tablet (like an iPad) or computer.

What are the benefits of virtual appointments with my recovery coach?

Lower costs for you

Our service is more affordable, as we don’t need to charge for travel, unlike some other NDIS service providers.

Convenience

You don’t even need to leave your house. For those in rural or regional areas, this makes our service much more accessible.

COVID-safe

Zero risk of exposure, and no need to wear a mask.

More relaxed

You don’t have the added stress of transport/parking, finding the right building, waiting at reception.

Do virtual services work as well as regular in-person appointments?

Yes! For most of our clients, video appointments are just as effective as face-to-face appointments, and sometimes better, because you don’t have the stress of physically getting to your appointment. Our structured and focused recovery coaching service achieves great results through virtual delivery.

How does a virtual appointment work, and what do I need?

You can have your virtual appointment by video using a smartphone, tablet or computer. We use Microsoft Teams, which you can use through the app (download the Teams app before your session). You can also have your virtual appointment over the phone – simple!
